Questions
How does Resync sync two Google calendars?
Resync reads busy time from the calendars you mark as sources and writes Busy hold events onto the calendars you mark as mirrors. You can connect more than one Google account and choose sources and mirrors on each.
Can I block time across work and personal calendars?
Yes. Connect the Google accounts you want to keep in sync, then mark calendars as sources or mirrors. Resync writes hold events titled Busy on the mirrors so those calendars show you as busy.
What gets copied between calendars?
Only busy time. Mirror holds use the title Busy. Source titles, attendees, and locations are not copied.
What Google permissions does Resync ask for?
Google is asked to see your list of calendars; see events on the calendars you choose as Sources, to know when you're busy; and create, update and delete events titled "Busy" on calendars you choose as Mirrors. We never store event titles, attendees or locations.
How quickly do calendar changes show up?
Resync watches for changes and updates those Busy holds.
Does Resync work with Outlook or iCloud?
No. Resync is a Google-only calendar sync app. It does not sync Outlook or iCloud calendars.
How do I stop Resync or revoke access?
Revoke anytime from Google or the dashboard. Disconnecting a Google account or deleting your Resync account removes the Busy holds Resync created. Revoking access in Google stops new sync; existing holds stay until you disconnect the account or delete your Resync account.
Can I use a read-only calendar as a mirror?
No. Read-only calendars cannot be mirror targets. You need write access to create Busy hold events. You can still mark a read-only calendar as a source.
How much does Resync cost?
Resync is $1.50/month or $9/year after a 30-day free trial, no credit card required.
